NOT SO PLAIN CLOTHES POLICE GIVE LLMF A BOOST
Donna Howells is an Emergency Controller in the control room of the South Wales Police. Her bosses sportingly agreed to hold non-uniform days during some of the Bank Holidays in 2012 and staff would pay to dress in what they regard as good taste(!) with the money going to two chosen charities. Donna's Mum is receiving treatment at Singleton Hospital, Ward 11, so LLMF was chosen as one of the charities.
Donna also made her own design Christams cards for sale, with proceeds to LLMF.
The evnts were a great success and proceeds to date are £500 plus another £55 for cards! There are plans for further days this year. Donna came along to one of the LLMF committee meetings to present the cheque.

Some examples of really good taste in working clothes.
